Hi, Kortney! For you today, a poem to train a

Thought onto: choices accumulate. Cheers, Dana.

As creatures of habit, it’s important to move.

Leaving home and exploring, our souls this behooves.

Expecting new vistas everywhere we show up,

The findings of sameness are often abrupt.

While the land and birds are different and novel,

Every place we go gives us reason to marvel

At the likeness, the oneness, the closeness of those

Who while sounding quite different, are just average Joes.

Life has us connected by the thoughts we all share,

Of belonging, and loving, and feeling in care.

It’s incumbent upon us, to seek out what’s more.

Step over the threshold, run, speed, go, and explore.
